On the farm we have 130 French and English Lavender plants. My mom ( Susan) who is the brains behind the Lavender part of the farm maintains these gardens with love and care all season long to ensure a good harvest in July.
Once she harvests the buds in July she dries them and they are then used in various products all year long.
This is the lady that makes all of those yummy maple and lavender baked goods everyone scoops up at the market every weekend.
She is also the lady that makes those very addicting Lavender Lemonade and Maple Iced Tea drinks that we sell out of every Sunday!
